Festival of short films of Budapest
Better known by the name of BuSho, this festival presents nearly 100 works by more than 30 different countries selected from a total of nearly 2,000 participants. The screening will take place mostly in the Vorosmarty cinema. All films are subtitled in English.
Wine Festival
Culture and wine rub shoulders in this traditional celebration is held on the banks of the Danube and in the great castle of Buda where the visitors can attend a tasting of local wines and artistic performances in various kind.
October:
Fall Festival
It’s one of the appointment with the art and among the most important festivals in Europe which run for ten days. The city welcomes all kind of exhibitions and contemporary art performances that include various disciplines. With more than 20 years of history under its belt, it is one of the cultural events of Hungary which also receives the name of Café Budapest Contemporary Arts Festival.
Republic Day –
This Festival pays homage to the 1956 revolution when Hungarians rebelled against the Soviet system and Republic because on the same day in 1989, the Hungary was declared as independent Republic. It is a national day.
